Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Warro ("Warro", "the app", "we", "our"), an iOS app for tracking appliance purchase and warranty information. By downloading or using Warro you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how Warro handles data and forms part of this agreement.
License to use Warro
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Warro on Apple devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Warro is licensed, not sold. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app, except as permitted by applicable law.
Free trial & Warro Pro
Warro includes a free 7-day trial. When the trial ends, the app locks until you unlock Warro Pro, a one-time purchase (not a subscription) made through the Apple App Store. The current price is shown in the app before you buy.
- Payments are processed by Apple. We never receive your payment details.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies; request them through Apple's "Report a Problem" page.
- Warro Pro supports Family Sharing, so eligible members of your Apple Family group may use it.
- You can restore a previous purchase from within the app on any device signed in to the same Apple Account.
Your data & responsibilities
Warro stores your appliance records and scanned receipts only on your device. We have no copy and cannot recover your data. Warro does not back up to iCloud or any other service, so if you delete the app, lose your device, or it fails, your Warro data may be permanently lost. You are responsible for maintaining your own device backups and for keeping your device secure.
Scanning accuracy & reminders
Warro uses automated text recognition to suggest details such as purchase dates, warranty lengths, and model numbers. These suggestions can be wrong or incomplete. Always review them before saving, and check them against your original documents and the manufacturer's or retailer's actual warranty terms.
Reminders are delivered as local notifications and depend on your device's settings, permissions, and operating system. Warro does not guarantee that a reminder will be delivered, and it is not a substitute for tracking important warranty deadlines yourself. Warro is not a party to any warranty, and nothing in the app is legal or financial advice.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Warro for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- attempt to bypass the free trial, the Warro Pro purchase, or other technical protections in the app;
- interfere with, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where the law allows it.
Intellectual property
Warro, including its name, icon, design, and code, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms give you no ownership of it. You keep all rights to your own receipts, documents, and the information you enter; we claim no rights to them, and because they never leave your device, we never have access to them.
Disclaimers
Warro is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet your needs.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, missed warranty claims, or lost profits, arising from your use of or inability to use Warro. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for Warro. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
Changes & termination
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the effective date at the top of this page, and for material changes note the change here. Continued use of Warro after an update means you accept the revised Terms. You may stop using Warro at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end access to the app if you breach these Terms.
Apple terms
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Warro, and is not responsible for any claims relating to the app. If the app fails to conform to a warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
